Concrete Safaris\u2019\u00a0City Surfers is a 5-day\/week after school program for 2nd – 5th graders who learn soft and hard outdoor leadership skills and then have the opportunity to exercise those skills and take action in the community while utilizing outdoor spaces for community building events, forming areas that their community comes to respect and utilize.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tGreen Exercise Days\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJungleGym\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOutdoor Leadership Academy\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n

Our workshops are mostly outdoors in Jefferson and Washington Houses, local parks, and on city streets as well as at cultural institutions and activities in and around New York City.<\/p>\n\tOctober 2019 \u2013 June 2020<\/strong>

What I like about Concrete Safaris is biking, that we have photography and that we go on trips every Friday. We go gardening which I like best of all because we plant and work as a team which helps us with our social skills.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
