Reporting to the Assistant Director of <\/span>Development, the Grant Writer\u2019s basic function is to be responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to <\/span>foundations, corporations, government entities, and other grant making institutions, and will persuasively communicate <\/span>Erie House\u2019s mission and programs to potential funders. Responsibilities include prospect research, grant proposals and <\/span>funding reports, budget preparation, as well as other fundraising duties. Two full-time Grant Writer positions are available.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

This includes assuring all DCFS licensing, Early Head Start and Head Start standards, and NAEYC standards are met, as well as assuming overall responsibility for all tasks related to the child care program in the absence of the Child Care Director. <\/span><\/p>\n
