Mental Health

All Well-Being Services (AWBS) offers comprehensive, evidence-based mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults in a welcoming environment.  A variety of services including, but not limited to case management, psychiatry, outpatient therapy, and peer support services are available to enable people to reach their treatment goals.  Our integrated and multifaceted approach empowers our clients to use their strengths and abilities to lead healthier and happier lives.

AWBS’ dedicated and qualified staff have extensive training and hands-on experience in working with individuals who have been impacted by mental health issues.  With a focus on the quality and continuity of care, individualized treatment plans are developed to provide a roadmap to recovery.

Available services include:

  • Outpatient Services: Individual or group therapy provided by licensed professionals in our office or in the community.
  • Case Management Services: Services that coordinate, link, monitor, and advocate for assistance to clients that improves functioning and meets individual needs.  Case Managers help with treatment planning and provide referrals and assistance with food, clothing, housing, transportation, Medicaid/SSI/SSDI application assistance, and/or other specialized services.
  • Peer Support Services: A service which pairs individuals in recovery, those receiving services with persons who have faced similar challenges.  The goal of this program is to provide mentorship to help individuals remain out of the hospital, thrive in their daily lives, and integrate effectively into their communities. Peer services are offered individually or in a group setting.
  • Assertive Community Treatment (ACT): An intensive, evidence-based treatment model for clients who need additional support to stay in their communities and out of the hospital.  ACT uses proactive engagement and provides continuous, rapid, flexible, and mobile team-based care, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty-five days a year.
  • Project RISE (Reduce Substance Use Disorder and HIV by Increasing Support & Engagement): A SAMHSA funded program, a collaborative initiative of five community-based organizations to implement a fully integrated program whose aim is to provide substance use disorder (SUD) and/or co-occurring SUD and mental disorders (COD) services to minorities who are living with HIV or are at risk for HIV.
  • Anger Management: A SAMSHA developed treatment model designed to address the anger issues of persons with substance abuse and mental health issues. The Anger Management model is a twelve-session group that includes a summary of core concepts and worksheets to take notes, allowing the individuals to continue lessons throughout the week.
  • Trauma Recovery and Empowerment (TREM): A model that draws on cognitive-behavioral skills training and psychoeducational techniques to aid in recovery from traumatic life events. Trauma recovery services are available for women (TREM), men (M-TREM), and transgender individuals (T-TREM).
  • Overcoming Low Self Esteem: A nine-session model by the Centre for Clinical Interventions. During this nine-week course, peers address the ways in which self-esteem is developed and maintained and ways to overcome of low self-esteem.
