About Us

The Whatcom Business Alliance is a growing membership organization comprising businesses and public entities across all business sectors, promoting a positive business climate that facilitates business success and community prosperity.

The WBA encourages, supports, facilitates, and advocates on behalf of companies that:

  • Strive to grow and retain jobs.
  • Have interest in expanding.
  • Want to start-up or relocate here in Whatcom County.
  • Are negatively impacted by poor public policy.

By creating a strong communications network of leaders, the WBA and its support publication Business Pulse magazine provide the Whatcom County business community a relevant and influential voice on issues impacting the quality of life for everyone in Whatcom County.

In a multitude of ways the WBA celebrates successful business ventures, profiling them and their leaders, so everyone can draw from the lessons learned and the methods that work.

The WBA communicates with the business community through the quarterly Business Pulse magazine, our monthly newsletter, the WBA website, social media and all of our events that take place throughout the year.
