{"id":7,"date":"2018-05-07T21:40:57","date_gmt":"2018-05-07T21:40:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.neoninspire.com\/whatcombusinessalliance\/about\/"},"modified":"2018-09-26T21:35:59","modified_gmt":"2018-09-26T21:35:59","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.neoninspire.com\/whatcombusinessalliance\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>\n\t\tAbout Us<br \/>\n\t<\/h1>\n<p>The <strong>Whatcom Business Alliance<\/strong>\u00a0is a growing membership organization comprising businesses and public entities across all business sectors, promoting a positive business climate that facilitates business success and community prosperity.<\/p>\n<p>The WBA encourages, supports, facilitates, and advocates on behalf of companies that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strive to grow and retain jobs.<\/li>\n<li>Have interest in expanding.<\/li>\n<li>Want to start-up or relocate here in Whatcom County.<\/li>\n<li>Are negatively impacted by poor public policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By creating a strong communications network of leaders, the WBA and its support publication <b><i><a href=\"http:\/\/businesspulse.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Business Pulse<\/a><\/i> <a href=\"http:\/\/businesspulse.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">magazine\u00a0<\/a><\/b>provide the Whatcom County business community a relevant and influential voice on issues impacting the quality of life for everyone in Whatcom County.<\/p>\n<p>In a multitude of ways the WBA celebrates successful business ventures, profiling them and their leaders, so everyone can draw from the lessons learned and the methods that work.<\/p>\n<p>The WBA communicates with the business community through the quarterly <a href=\"http:\/\/businesspulse.com\/\"><em>Business Pulse<\/em> magazine<\/a>, our monthly newsletter, the WBA website, social media and all of our events that take place throughout the year.<\/p>\n<form action=\"https:\/\/secure3.associationsonline.com\/membership_org.cfm\" method=\"post\">\n<\/form>\n<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>We look forward to adding you and your company or organization to the rapidly-growing list of outstanding members in the Whatcom Business Alliance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<form action=\"https:\/\/secure3.associationsonline.com\/membership_org.cfm\" method=\"post\">\n<\/form>\n<h2>WBA Strategic Plan<\/h2>\n<p>After your mission statement, you can qualify that statement with a little bit of more specific information.
