City Surfers After School

Concrete Safaris’ City Surfers is a 5-day/week after school program for 2nd - 5th graders who learn soft and hard outdoor leadership skills and then have the opportunity to exercise those skills and take action in the community while utilizing outdoor spaces for community building events, forming areas that their community comes to respect and utilize.

Where & When?

Our workshops are mostly outdoors in Jefferson and Washington Houses, local parks, and on city streets as well as at cultural institutions and activities in and around New York City.

Selection Process

Must be 7-12-years-old in the 2nd – 5th grades at PS 57
